Tridion announces very successful first half year
Amsterdam ,

Tridion, the recognised European leader in Content Management Solutions, today reported excellent financial results for the first half of 2005. With these positive results Tridion continues its increasing strong financial performance and customer growth.
Tridion attributes the success of the last half year to the further expansion and improvement of its total business solutions offering and stronger links with existing clients. In addition, the company also reports several new client contracts, including well-known companies such as Goodyear USA, University of Leiden, Trespa, and Effectory in the Netherlands, Circulo de Lectores in Spain, and many more.
Pieter Varkevisser, CEO of Tridion, is very pleased with these results: “The operational margin increased compared to the first half year of 2004 to 14 percent of the turnover, the client satisfaction score improved substantially and, thanks to the availability of the solution software, the yield from existing clients grew substantially.”
The financial results again prove that the Dutch software vendor is on the right track. In April, Forrester Research positioned Tridion as leader in Web Content Management (WCM) for external sites in Forrester’s Wave: Web Content Management Q1 2005 report. Pieter Varkevisser adds: “We are proud that such a renowned, independent research firm as Forrester gave us this high ranking and identified Tridion as the leader in the international Web Content Management market. A large number of our customers moved to Tridion from either an early content management technology or from WCM tools they developed themselves. These customers are clearly happy with the return on investment that Tridion technology provides, and the unique expertise we offer in this market space.”
