European expansion continues
Diemen, 3 January 2006
– Nedstat, European leader in website analytics, today announces the opening of a new office in Spain. Madrid is the sixth European city with a local Nedstat office, after Amsterdam, Antwerp, Frankfurt, London and Paris. The new office will focus on the marketing, sales and support of Nedstat’s high-end product Sitestat and related services such as training and consultancy.
Sabine Knobbout will manage the new Spanish subsidiary, Nedstat España SL. Sabine has been working at Nedstat since 2001, in the past two years as Senior Account Manager in the Netherlands. The Spanish team will this year be expanded to 5 employees, all Spanish nationals.
More than 125 Spanish organizations are already measuring their online activities with one of the Nedstat products, including Informa, McGraw-Hill and acens Technologies. Nedstat expects a strong increase in the number of Spanish clients using Sitestat in 2006.
The opening of the Spanish office marks the next step in Nedstat’s European expansion. "Spain is a modern country that is developing quickly in many areas, including new media", says Michael Kinsbergen, Nedstat’s CEO. "We have noticed an increasing interest in our products and services. Our policy has always been to be close to our clients. Providing products in the local language and with local people for support, training and consultancy. Therefore, the new Madrid office is a logical step for us."
