Limitless extension of Sitestat reporting possibilities
Amsterdam, 26 June 2006 - Nedstat announces the new SOAP Application Programming Interface (API) in Sitestat 5. The API enables users to integrate Sitestat web analytics report data directly with other tools and applications. Sitestat information can also be published by users in their own customized way. The new API allows for a limitless extension of Sitestat’s reporting possibilities.
Using Sitestat’s API, users can now query data or reports directly from their own computer programs.
Combine online and offline information
Integration of Sitestat information with Business Intelligence Systems brings online and offline information together.
Enrich metrics of other reporting tools
Combining Sitestat reports with other online marketing tools makes it possible to enrich the metrics available from these tools by integrating them with online behavior data.
Customize publication of data
Users now have the option of publishing Sitestat data any way they want. For example, they can create dashboards on their intranet with key performance indicators about their online activities. Or they can display Sitestat information real-time on a large ‘live’ screen.
Michael Kinsbergen, CEO: "Web analytics is about more than just the website. It has become essential in the analysis of the overall business. Companies therefore want to combine this data with data from other offline and online tools and applications. By fully opening up Sitestat, our users can now easily retrieve data and use it any way they want. Another milestone in the development of Sitestat 5."
Nedstat uses the SOAP standard so the API connection can be programmed in the developer’s preferred environment - such as Java, Perl or .NET.
